The USAID/ENGAGE program is supporting the Zero Corruption Conference, which was recently launched by its partner, the Anti-Corruption Action Centre, together with the New Europe Center and other Ukrainian CSOs. The Conference is an international project focusing on the linkages between corruption and money laundering with global security, environmental, energy, and public health issues. It will be held on April 25-27, 2020, and aims to formulate a new regional and global agenda aimed at reaching a Zero Corruption Future. This event will demonstrate that Ukraine is already a laboratory of solutions for that. During the first day of the Zero Corruption Conference, change makers with experience in anti-corruption activities from around the world will share reform practices. The second day of the conference will be devoted to the discussion: “What Has the World Learned From Chornobyl’s Lessons?” at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant. On the third day, high-level discussions will be held with participation from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Alexei Honcharuk and leaders of other states.
