In 2024, Ukrainian youth have significantly increased their participation in civil society activities. A public poll conducted by IREX and the Center for Insights in Survey Research (CISR) highlights this growing engagement. The study reveals that 94% of Ukrainians aged 16 to 30 donated for military purposes over the past year, reflecting a raise of 2% from the previous year. Additionally, there has been an increase in the number of young people making donations for humanitarian needs (78%, compared to 76% in 2023), signing petitions (75%, up from 68% in 2023), and participating in cultural or sports events (65%, compared to 58% in 2023).
