Key Findings of the Panel Discussion on Civil Society`s Advocacy Endeavors

On May 30th, we held an insightful expert discussion titled “Drivers of Ukraine’s Future: How Can Civil Society-led Advocacy Help Advance Victory and Accountable Reconstruction?” at the Civil Society Forum.

Key findings from the discussion:

  • Civil society plays a pivotal role in driving social change and should complement the government through its expertise and innovation;

  • The restoration of transparency should be a gradual and balanced process, characterized by effective communication between the state and civil society at every stage;
  • The foundation of Ukraine’s successful reconstruction lies in both European integration and a viable secure framework, notably through NATO membership;
  •
  • Cultural diplomacy is a significant component of advocacy, enabling Ukraine to maintain a prominent presence in the information space;
  • It is essential to reinforce coordination among stakeholders involved in reconstruction, emphasizing continuous learning and fostering collective efforts.

We express our heartfelt appreciation to all participants of this discussion. Events of this nature provide a crucial platform to identify and address urgent issues that demand immediate attention, paving the way for a prosperous and transparent reconstruction of Ukraine.
