Request for Applications: Stability Fund Increasing Organizational Resiliency, Adaptive Capacities, Innovation, And Learning

Pact, a leader in building the capacity of non-government organizations, networks, and intermediary organizations, is pleased to announce the release of a request for applications (RFA) for funding provided to support Pact’s implementation of USAID/ENGAGE Activity to Enhance Non-Governmental Actors and Grassroots Engagement (USAID award AID 121-A-16-00011). The purpose of USAID/ENGAGE is to increase citizen awareness of and engagement in civic activities at the national, regional, and local level.
This RFA is issued as a public notice to ensure that all interested, qualified, and eligible organizations have a fair opportunity to submit applications for funding. For the purposes of this RFA, “organizations” are defined as non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations (CSOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), or faith-based organizations (FBOs).
USAID/ENGAGE will award support through the Stability Fund to shore up CSOs’ financial support for advocacy efforts through a mechanism that can be expanded upon and adapted as domestic contextual considerations permit. The Fund addresses current needs due to the extraordinary impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, while laying the groundwork for a longer-term funding mechanism to support advocacy efforts in Ukraine.

The overall purpose of the Stability Fund is to address governance challenges, in government transparency and social inclusion on the subnational level, by increasing organizational resiliency, adaptive capacities, innovation, and learning. The Fund responds to current needs due to the extraordinary impact of the COVID-19 pandemic while laying the groundwork for a longer-term funding mechanism to support advocacy efforts in Ukraine.
