Importance of upholding the guarantees the constitution affords to all members of society, including minorities

This past week we have celebrated World Refugee Day, the LGBTI community at Kyiv’s Equality March, and now, as Constitution Day approaches, we take time to recognize the fundamental rights of all individuals. These events remind us that nobody should feel free until there are no groups that feel unfree. And they remind us of the importance of upholding the guarantees the constitution affords to all members of society, including minorities. That statement represents our values at ENGAGE and guides our efforts to support the rights of society’s most marginalized groups. In this week’s newsletter, we highlight our community’s efforts to amplify the voice of diverse segments of society that advance the rights of all.
